“Back in the Frame”
Rebuilding, Refocusing, and Returning to the Carty Method Accelerator
They say starting over is hard. But what they don’t tell you is that starting again after you’ve already tasted the wins, fallen off track, been humbled, and still find yourself itching to create, that’s a different kind of hard. That’s soul work.
And that’s exactly where I’m at.
After some heavy life detours personal setbacks, explosive breakups, health scares, and those quiet nights where doubt talks louder than dreams. I’m making the conscious decision to walk back into the fire. I'm rebuilding my photography business. Not from scratch, but from experience.
This time, I’m not just snapping pictures. I’m building legacy.
Why Now?
Because the vision never died it just got quiet under the weight of life.
Before the lens, I had brushes and charcoal. Painting and drawing used to be my voice. That’s how I processed the world, how I healed, how I expressed, how I dreamed. But life… life took that away from me for a while. Somewhere between the pressure to survive and the heartbreaks that cracked my focus, the color faded. https://durelartworks.weebly.com/
Photography has brought the light back inside.
It gave me something steady to hold when everything else felt shaky. It reignited a part of me I thought was lost. Through it, I found a way not only to see others but to feel seen, finally.
Rejoining The Carty Method
The Carty Method Accelerator isn’t just a mentorship program, it’s a mirror and a map. It’s creative bootcamp with heart. I’ve been here before, but this time I’m walking in differently, less about proving myself, more about honoring the fire I’ve carried this whole time.
I’m refining my visual voice, aligning my branding, and committing to the kind of work that makes me proud: bold portraits, soulful editorials, branding sessions that elevate who my clients really are.
This isn’t about becoming a photographer. I am a photographer.
This is about showing up like one.
The Mission Going Forward
My camera isn’t just a tool. It’s my new voice.
One that tells the stories I never knew how to share.
One that brought back the light when the world went dim.
So, if you're reading this, welcome to the ride. I’ll be documenting the highs, the hurdles, the client wins, the creative breakthroughs, and probably a few more “what-the-hell-am-I-doing?” moments too.
But I’ll be here, walking it, writing it, shooting it. Frame by frame.
Let’s Go.
